The Ninilchik Swoncho is as comfy as being wrapped in a blanket, but is more functional thanks to its clever construction and sleeves. This cozy piece will surely be a go-to knit in your closet - you may find yourself reaching for it year-round! There are two sizes in the pattern (available on Ravelry for $7) but we think size 2 will fit most and goes up to a 3XL but isn't too huge on a smaller person. You will receive (4) skeins of the main color and (1) each of three contrasting colors. Hint: the main color is the sleeves and the bottom of the swoncho. Pick one of the contrast colors to be next to your face (I skipped chart A and went right to CC1 to start mine). Great as a first colorwork project since the charts are so easy to follow!
Yarn: dk Needle: US 4 and US 6 (I used US 5 and US 7 as my fair isle tends to be a little tight) Note: you will need a 60" circular at the bottom of the swoncho and 16" for sleeves. Best to use interchangeable needles so you can just swap out cords. Gauge: 20 sts = 4 inches in stranded colorwork pattern Care: hand wash cool, lay flat to dry
Approximate size: size 2 will fit L-3X Body Circumference: 83”
