The pandemic was hard on everyone and it made Joyce miss her family even more. As a result, she has decided it’s time to move to Arizona where her kids and grandkids live. So after the I-75 Yarn Crawl is over on Saturday, August 7th, Joyce and Susan are loading up her car and headed out with a KAL of course!
Our Michigan knit shop will be CLOSED the week of August 8-15. But don’t worry, we can still have fun! Susan will be doing The Pine Lake Shawl KAL! Each day she will post her progress and if you comment on your progress each day, you will be entered to win a prize! Each photo you post will get you entered! We’re not sure what the prize will beyet but I’m sure it will be great knitting fun! What do you need to participate? One skein of Juniper Moon Cumulus (rainbow, dappled or solid) yarn and the pattern Pine Lake Shawl pattern by Jaala Spiro. The pattern calls for a little more yarn but I think we will be fine. It is over 3,000 miles to Arizona so we had to do something fun!
We will definitely miss Joyce! She has been an integral part of our A Piece of Ewe Yarn Store team for more than seven years and she is always welcome back.
We will be back for the next Project Kit Facebook Live on August 15th at 7 PM!
