Ready to explore a land of sheep, wool, and longstanding wooly traditions? Then join Rowan Tree Travel & Fiber and A Piece of Ewe for an 11-day/10-night jaunt through the southwest of England on our Knitter’s Tour of British Breeds. We’ll travel through the regions of Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, and Gloucestershire (aka The Cotswolds) in our usual style: comfy (and sometimes quirky!) accommodations, fantastic fiber purveyors, a farm or two, great garden-to-table meals, beautiful landscape and time to knit, laugh and learn together. The tour starts with an easy meetup in London. Then we’ll enjoy a day of train knitting as we ride all the way to Penzance, in the far southwest. Bit by bit, we’ll wend our way north again, stopping at some iconic southwest sites along the way. By the journey’s end, we’ll find ourselves in the UNESCO World Heritage site of Bath. This is a very relaxed tour, with three-night stays everywhere except our first evening in London. Join us!
